Join Leadsmart PH for a comprehensive training program designed to equip learners with a robust understanding of Philippines’ regulatory landscape, encompassing the Food Safety Act of 2013, Code of Practice, Standards, and crucial fundamentals within the plant industry. Through a blend of theoretical lectures and hands-on laboratory activities, participants will gain invaluable insights into mitigating food hazards and championing food safety practices within their establishments.
Training Details:
- Duration: 24 Hours (16 Hours Lecture, 8 Hours Laboratory Activity)
- Prerequisite: None required for individuals with a background in food science or related disciplines; 2 years of industry experience for others.
Training Objectives: By the end of this training, participants will:
- Develop a sound understanding of Republic Act (RA) 10611, the Food Safety Act of 2013, and its implications.
- Familiarize themselves with the core principles of food safety regulations and standards in the Philippines.
- Appreciate the significance of designating a Food Safety Compliance Officer (FSCO) within their establishments.
- Acquire the ability to recommend and implement effective control measures to mitigate food hazards.
