Food Safety Compliance Officer for Plant Industry (FSCO-BPI)
Join Leadsmart PH for a training program. It will teach you about the Philippines’ laws on food safety. In addition, This includes the Food Safety Act of 2013, Codes of Practice, and Philippines National Standards related to Plant Industries. You’ll learn the basics of the plant industry. Further more, The program has both lectures and laboratory activities. This will give you insights on managing food hazards and promoting food safety in your business.
Training Details:
- Duration: 24 Hours (16 Hours Lecture, 8 Hours Laboratory Activity)
- Prerequisite: None required for individuals with a background in food science or related disciplines. however, 2 years of industry experience is required for others.
- Venue: The training is conducted fully online integrated with Learning Management System
Training Objectives:
By the end of this training, participants will:
- Develop a sound understanding of Republic Act (RA) 10611, the Food Safety Act of 2013, and its implications.
- Familiarize themselves with the core principles of food safety regulations and standards in the Philippines.
- Appreciate the significance of designating a Food Safety Compliance Officer (FSCO) within their establishments.
- Acquire the ability to recommend and implement effective control measures to mitigate food hazards.
