The successful three-day Capability Building Training on Seafood Safety concluded on September 12, 2025, at the Great Eastern Hotel in Quezon City. This collaborative event empowered BFAR’s technical staff with the expertise to protect the nation’s seafood supply chain from shore to table.

The intensive seafood safety training brought together key post-harvest technical staff from various BFAR regional offices. The curriculum taught advanced, practical skills. In addition, These are essential for ensuring public health and meeting national food safety goals.
